Purpose
MvM is a movie discovery and social discussion app. These rules apply to public profiles, posts, comments, movie-pair discussions, usernames, avatars, images, and any shared content.
Content That Is Not Allowed
- Public nudity, pornography, sexual solicitation, or explicit sexual content.
- Graphic real-world violence, gore, threats, or content encouraging self-harm or harm to others.
- Harassment, bullying, hate speech, slurs, intimidation, or targeted abuse.
- Spam, scams, impersonation, misleading links, bot activity, or repeated low-quality posts.
- Private information about another person, including addresses, phone numbers, private messages, or precise location.
- Illegal content or content that infringes intellectual property rights.
- Attempts to evade moderation, abuse the API, scrape the service, or interfere with other users.
Movie Metadata And Mature Themes
MvM includes movie metadata from third-party sources. Some legitimate movies may contain mature themes, violence, or sensitive topics. Adult-flagged movie records and known explicit adult content are hidden from search, battles, and normal discovery surfaces. Users must not add explicit sexual or graphic material in social content.
Reporting And Blocking
- Users can report posts, comments, movie-pair comments, profiles, and other user-generated content for review.
- Users can block another user. Blocking hides each user's posts and comments from the other user and removes direct following relationships.
- Reports are reviewed by moderators. Moderation actions may include hiding content, restoring content, dismissing reports, limiting accounts, or deleting accounts.
- We may remove content without notice when it violates these rules, creates legal risk, or harms the safety or reliability of the service.
Reviewer Access
Some social features require an account. App review teams may use test credentials supplied in the store review form to verify reporting, blocking, and moderation behavior.
